I just love all of these ideas and they can be altered to suit any party theme. The little banners made with circles punched from cardstock is my favorite, what a clever idea! I'm seeing an apron card in my future too!

Love this simple goody bag idea too...

Charming Button Bracelet

I am totally in love with A Muse Studio's Not Your Grandma's Bag of Buttons. These fabulous buttons are available in twelve colors that coordinate with a|s papers and inks, as well as in clear, and are sold by the bagful. Each bag of  colored buttons contains approximately 250 buttons in assorted shapes and sizes. Clear button bags contain approximately 150 assorted size buttons.

What to do with all those buttons? Well, in addition to adding them to your cards and layouts as embellishments (they make perfect centers for paper flowers), you can make jewelry with them!

I joined a Handmade Gift Exchange and wanted to make something special for my gift partner using my A Muse Studio supplies. After searching the internet for some button jewelry inspiration I decided to create a charm bracelet. I used Buttercup buttons and some basic jewelry findings.

I also made this coordinating little box to put it in...

All ready for giving...

I think it makes a cute little gift and I hope that my gift partner will enjoy it!

Thanks for stopping by!

...a little favor

I love favors! You know, those little treats that you bestow upon your guests to thank them for attending your celebration, no matter how large or small it was. A favor can be anything from a single piece of candy wrapped with decorative paper and adorned with a snippet of ribbon, to a whole bag of either homemade goodies or other favorite treats with a cute paper topper.

This adorable little matchbook favor makes the perfect treat for a bridal shower or wedding. You can whip up a whole bunch of them in no time at all, cheap! They look great when they are placed in a coordinating basket or bucket, ready to snatched up and enjoyed by your guests. This one has a wedding theme but they can easily be customized to match the color or theme of any event and hold your choice of wrapped candy. I used Life Savers inside mine.  All supplies, except for the candy of course, and the punches are from A Muse Studio.

Here's a little hint: staple through the wrapper to secure the candy inside.

Birthdays, graduations, showers, weddings and many other family gatherings will take place during these summer months. Favors are an easy way for you to add a personal touch and will make your guests feel appreciated. They can be any small treat, the possibilities are endless! Just use your imagination and then get a little crafty and personalize them with a bit of paper and ink. Most of all, have fun and celebrate!

Recipe:
Calendar Fun and Friend to Friend stamp sets
Sugar, Sky and Onyx paper
Slate pigment ink
Clear embossing powder
Quickie glue pen
Diamond glitter
Word window punch (SU)
Circle Punches (Creative Memories)

Berry Sweet Invitation

Hello! Just wanted to share these sweet invitaions that I made for my daughter's fourth birthday party. The berry and flower stamps are from a set that I purchased awhile back from Oriental Trading. The decorative papers are from there as well and were part of a coordinating line...I bought ribbon, stickers and journal cards too (naturally). It was all on clearance when I bought it and I had a specific use planned for it, which made me very happy! The flowers and buttons are from A Muse Studio.

The inside..."It's a Party!" and party details stamps are from Stampin Up.

The back...

Here is what my dining room table looks like when I have an assembly line of cards going...

I had a little helper too...

Sweet!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday Trigger: Classically Modern

I have been having so much fun playing along with the Tuesday Trigger Challenges over at Moxie Fab World and was delighted to learn that I was chosen as a Target Trigger for last week's Pyrex Effect Challenge. You can check out my card that I created for the challenge here.

This week's challenge is Classically Modern.

I love the colors and the floral print. I immediately thought of these great A Muse Studio leaves and flower stamps and pulled out a few shades of blue ink. A couple of dimensional flowers, a bit if bling and voila! It is so simple and modern. Check out some of the great cards posted for this week's challenge, maybe you'll be inspired to play along too.

All supplies are from A Muse Studio unless otherwise noted and can be purchased through my webstore.

Card Recipe:
Sugar and Black (Paper Cut) Paper
Sky Pigment Ink
Black Memento Ink
Faded Denim & Weathered Wood Dye Inks (Ranger Distress)
Stamps from the Beautiful Botanicals 2, Clever Girls, Graphic Sunflower
and Life is a Song stamp sets
