Thanks Easter Bunny!

Hello, I hope everyone had a Happy Easter, we sure did! I thought I would share a couple of goodies that I made for the holiday. First, my daughter and I made these adorable nests out of paper lunch bags and raffia to use as place markers on the dinner table. They came out so cute. I got the idea from the April issue of Family Fun.

Next, is this sweet basket with kissing bunnies that I made for my hunny bunny. I saw a similar style basket on the Lindt website and I absolutely loved it, but not the price. Then I thought...I can make that! I used cardstock, decorative paper, some little embellishments and my favorite Martha Stewart punches.

The paper basket was so easy to make that I kept going and made a couple is another version which I think is equally as cute.

That is all for today! Don't forget that today is the last day to RSVP for my A Muse Studio Grand Opening Workshop on Wednesday. If you would like to attend please email me so that I can prepare all the supplies needed for each guest to create their projects. I do hope you will join me!

Welcome Little One

I'm an auntie again! I am so excited, my newest niece was born last week, healthy & happy!

Here is a picture of the diaper cake that I made for the baby shower. Right now it is in the baby's room and looks adorable but soon they will have to take it apart to get to the goodies inside! The "cake" layers are made from onesies, burp cloths and two packages of diapers. It  even has a bottle of champagne hidden inside. I was very pleased with how cute it turned out and how easy it was to make.

My First Few A Muse Studio Cards

I have been having so much fun playing with all my new a|s stamps, papers and inks. Some of these cards I did case from the very helpful a|s consultant lounge to get my creativity going and was so inspired that I didn't want to stop. I had to pick up though because I needed to feed my family and our dining room table is now my new stamping spot since we are preparing for another little remodeling project.

I have to say that I had not used a|s pigment inks before and I am really liking them. They leave a rich impression, are embossable and dry to a chalk like fininsh...very nice.

More to come very soon plus all the details about my Grand Opening Celebration!

Thanks for looking,
Julie D.
