some of my craft fair goodies...

Just thought I would share a few of the items that I made to sell at local craft fairs. This was my first time ever selling things that I made, so I was not to sure what to expect. I had a great time at both fairs, saw some friends, met a lot of wonderful people and made a decent profit too (thank you!). I enjoyed meeting other crafters as well, there were some really great products there...people are so creative!!
I'm sorry for the poor lighting, I took photos at set-up the night before the show.
I have been having so much fun making jewelry with my a muse studio buttons. Here are some of the bracelets and earrings that I made...

I also used my a|s buttons and some cupcake liners to make these super cute holiday pins...I just love these. I have always liked to wear pins, especially for holidays.

I also made these cute beaded keychains. They are tied to a handstamped gift tag and ready to give as is or attach to a gift!

Thanks for looking!

Mini Halloween Treat Boxes

Hello! Fall is almost here and it is my favorite time of the year! The kids are back in school, the leaves are beginning to turn brilliant hues and the air is a bit crisper. Add to that the coming of Halloween, which is one of my favorite holidays, and I am loving it! I've been having fun playing with A Muse Studio's new holiday stamp sets and thought I would share these cute mini treat boxes that I made. All supplies are from A Muse Studio.

These little boxes are the just the right size to hold three Ghiradelli chocolate squares...or whatever else you want to put in them!

This little ghost is my favorite...

If you would like the template for these boxes so that you can make some for your own little goblins, or want to know what stamps and supplies I used to create them, just send me an email and I will hook you up! :)

It's almost time for another Spotlight...the September Spotlight will be revealed on the 15th of the month! The theme is Elegant Halloween Bash. Be sure to check back then for some great papercrafting ideas for your own elegant Halloween bash!

Happy Anniversary... my wonderful husband!

I cannot believe this photo was taken almost 20 years ago!!!
We were so young. I love him just as much today as I did waaaaaaay back then...
in fact, even more!

Here is a mini album in a box that I made for him a several anniversaries ago. I used an empty cigar box covered with decorative paper as the base and used scrapbook paper to make the inside pages then added photos and embellishments. It is a treasure to me now.

I drew the monogram, had it made into a rubber stamp and used it for our wedding invitations and programs. Yes...I was a crazy woman once and handmade 75 elaborate wedding invitations. If you were one of the 75 to get one I hope you saved it!!! Just kidding! in love!

Kelye's Diaper Cake

I was recently invited to a baby shower for my neighbor who is expecting a baby girl this month. Since she and her husband are already well prepared for little Danika's arrival it was requested that gifts be kept to basic neccessities like diapers, onesies and toiletries. I knew right away that I wanted to make her a diaper cake. I had so much fun making one for my sister-in-law and was thrilled to have a reason to make another.

This adorable "cake" is made up of a jumbo pack of diapers, a pack of onesies and some sweet little rattles. I made pink tissue paper flowers and used pink ribbon to decorate it. A chipboard monogram and a few paper punched butterflies complete it. I hope she enjoyed it.

Thanks for stopping by!

I cannot believe it is already August!! Where does the time go?

It seems like it has been so long since I've had a chance to get crafty. Thanks to the recent purchase of the movie "Rio", yesterday I had not only one, but close to two hours of inky fun time!! I needed to come up with a few cards to use for an upcoming Copic workshop and was totally feeling inspired by the beautiful summer weather. All supplies are from A Muse Studio.

Here is what I came up with...

I just love this whale much fun to color!

For Melysa ~ Handmade Gift Exchange Part 1

I had so much fun participating in the Craftaholics Anonymous biannual handmade gift exchange. Once I was paired up with a partner we emailed each other a couple of times and shared a little about ourselves. I have to say that I had a fabulous partner and cannot wait for another exchange.

Here are the little gifts that I made for Melysa...

A charming button bracelet made with Bermuda buttons, my favorite color, from A Muse Studio...

A cute little box for the bracelet made with matching Bermuda polka-dot paper and embellished with paper flowers and a tag...

Of course I wanted to make her some cards too!
I made this set of four lighthouse cards using stamps, inks and papers also from A Muse Studio...

I packaged them up in a clear box and wrapped it with twine...

And because I just could not help myself, I decorated the box too...

I hope she enjoyed receiving them as much as I enjoyed making them!

I will post the wonderful gifts that she sent to me in another post.

Thanks for visiting!
