hippity, hoppity...

...the Easter bunny is on his way!

I have a couple of cute Easter projects to share with you today. These projects are both going to be part of my Bunny Stamp Camp, so if you are in the area you can come make your own!! Camp details can be found here. All supplies are from amuse|studio.

This card is so simple yet elegant! I love the color combination, it's so springy!

 

This cute little fry box is super simple to make using a fabulous a|s die and assembles just as easily. Fill'er up with a few treats and there you have it...easy peasy!!

The little bunny peep stamp is one of my favorites! :)

inspiration recreation

I love to look through papercrafting and scrapbooking magazines and see all the fabulous ideas that crafty people have come up with. I've been collecting these magazines for over ten years now and have acquired quite a few over the years. It does not matter to me how old the they are, the ideas always seem new each time I look through them. I often pull them off the bookshelf in batches for a little inspiration.

While browsing the March/April 2012 issue of Paper Crafts, I came across a beautiful card and knew right away I wanted to recreate it. You can see the original card and the inspiration sketch for it here.

Here is my recreation...

My version is a simplified one which totally suits my style. All supplies are by amuse|studio and can be purchased either by contacting me directly or through my webstore. I used woodgrain cardstock in latte for the side panel and vanilla cardstock for the base. The leaves are stamped with grass pigment ink and the sentiment in french roast pigment ink. The paper flowers are colored with a Copic marker (one of my favorite little tricks) and a small pearl adorns the center of each bloom.  

I was so happy with the way my first card came out that I just had to make another!

These flowers remind me of the small flowers we find in our yard, I do not know what they are called but I love them...

Inspiration can be found in lots of places but you gotta love Paper Crafts!

A Little Hostess Gift

I thought I would share this little thank you gift I made for a recent hostess using Stamp On, one of my favorite new a muse|studio stamps. These cards were super quick and easy to make and I love the colors together, bubble gum and orange...yum!

I also used another new favorite of mine, washi tape, to jazz up a plain pencil. I added some glitter around the top and a twinkle heart and there you go...instant adorable!



Here they are all packaged up and tied with some bakers twine.

Now who wouldn't want to receive that?

Think Spring!

Warmer weather will soon be here and I for one am looking forward to that!

Spring makes me think of rain, flowers, birds, bunnies and rainbows!

I thought I would share this cute rainbow card that I made...

Spring also makes me think of Spring Cleaning and I am doing that!

I have been cleaning my craft space and making room for all my new a|s things. I have decided to sell all my Stampin'Up, Penny Black and Hero Arts sets as well as Stamping Bella and other assorted stamps.

More Birthday Fun...

I thought I would share some of the projects from my Birthday Bash stamp camp held on Sunday to celebrate amuse|studio's first anniversary. I had such a great time sharing all my projects with the super nice and crafty ladies who came by to celebrate with me...thank you ladies!!!! I just hope that they had as much fun as I did and enjoyed all the birthday goodness. I know they liked the glitter!!! :)

This card is my favorite, I love the simplicity, the colors, the glitter, the font, all of it!

We also made this cute little elephant card...

...and a sweet little treat holder card!

We made these super cute birthday reminder tag books as well. These are adorable and so fast & easy to make you can whip one up in no time. The calendar is a PDF and is available to download free from the a*muse blog. You can find it here. The punch is by Uchida..the Clever Lever Giga Tag Punch. I bought mine at Amazon.

I used my ink jet printer to print the calendar pages onto a|s cardstock.

Punch each month out (plus one more for a front cover), punch holes, add a binder ring and some pretty ribbon bits, and you are done. I love how each month is a different color!
